This approach works, I know because I used a similar approach to quit smoking myself in 1 day. And it works along the process of going cold turkey which has been proven to be a very effective way to quit smoking.
A recent article at WebMd.com says that: “No clear winner seen among stop-smoking aids. Whether you use the nicotine patch, lozenges or Chantix, strong desire to quit is key, experts say.”
